COVID-19 Rental Housing Support Effort, Sponsored by Yardi, Shares Resources

Recent reports detail a downward trend in residential rent collections as stakeholders seek solutions. Assistance for rental housing sector includes mental health assets as well as legislative, liability and media initiatives



SANTA BARBARA, Calif.Feb. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Supporting the rental housing sector through the pandemic and beyond is a priority for the industry’s preeminent technology provider. Yardi is proud to be a primary sponsor of the newly launched COVID-19 Rental Housing Support Initiative. The project is a collaboration of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), National Apartment Association (NAA), National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

In mid-2020, Yardi committed $1 million to supporting COVID-19 Rental Housing Support and the programs developed by this initiative. The support includes content for renters, like mental health resources and fact-based information on renting, legislative support for the industry, liability information and media outreach. A variety of ongoing support resources will be released in early 2021.
