I know how hard we work and it breaks my heart seeing people who come to the end of their journey with nothing to show for all that hard work. HOW TO MAKE $1,000 OR MORE A YEAR AT YOUR DAY JOB WITHOUT ASKING FOR A RAISE What if I told you that you could make an extra $1,000 a year at your day job by tweaking a routine by 15 minutes. Would you Robert Downey Jr. me? It’s true! This is not a scam I promise. But, it’ll only work if you get time and a half pay when you work overtime. Every company that I’ve worked for had time and a half pay when I worked overtime. So, lets say that you get paid $10.00 an hour. Your time and a half pay would be $15.00 if you worked over 80 hours during a 2 week pay period. Here’s where the slight adjustment comes in that will make you an extra $1,000 a year. And that is to clock in 15 minutes early every morning. And take a 45 minute lunch break instead of an hour. So that’s 30 minutes overtime every day. Now lets break it down so that you can see it. Remember, in this example we’re pretending that we make $10.00 an hour. 3 EASY STRATEGIES FOR SAVING MONEY. HOW A MAINTENANCE MAN SAVED $30,000 I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “there’s more than one way to skin a cat.” Well, it applies to saving money too! There’s all kinds of strategies for piling cash. I want to share with you my 3 favorite. All math will be done without taxes in mind to keep it simple.   First, there’s the 70/30 strategy that I learned from an awesome book called,  That’s where you spend 70% of your yearly take home pay on living expenses and bills. And the 30% you save and invest. For example, if you make $35,000 a year, multiply 35,000 x 70%. That equals 24,500. So, you would live on $24,500 a year and save $10,500 a year.  Now, break that $24,500 down into how much you’d have to live on each month. 24,500 divided by 12 = $2,041.66 a month for living expenses.                     Now do your savings. 10,500 divided by 12 = $875 straight into the money market account every month.  Another strategy that you can use is to save 10 or 15 percent out of every paycheck. Let’s go with 10% for our example. If you earn $16.00 an hour, you’d get paid $1,280 every two weeks. So, 1,280 x 10% = 128.                                 You would be saving $128 out of every paycheck. You’d get paid twice a month, right?..

You know, back when men were men. Back when men drank the grease after they fried bacon and chased it down with a glass of raw eggs.  But in all seriousness. Are you really dropping $30.00 to $40.00 for 8 disposable razors? Whaaaat! 8 razors for $40.00! You know that I can’t let you continue spanking your wallet’s butt like that. I’m here to give you another money saving tip. I began searching for a better way to shave due to ingrown hairs on my face. And also the razor burn! Who expects this annoying side effect after using a four or five blade Gillette razor? That cool guy using them in the commercial never had razor burn! My dermatologist said that he hates the blades with multiple razors. The hair is getting sliced by each razor blade and cutting the hair until it’s below the skin. No, I’m not talking about the narcotics dealing “man child” wearing saggy pants and a crooked hat. Actually, dealing narcotics was a no-no among the real gangsters and they would whack you for it. Drug dealing brought too much heat from the cops. I’m talking about the person in the five thousand dollar sharkskin suit with multiple streams of income. After watching The Godfather 2, I became intrigued about how an immigrant standing on Ellis Island with nothing but a suitcase ended up with a multi-million dollar empire. So, I decided to investigate. I devoured hundreds of books about real life Godfathers and gangsters. The common thread in everything that I read was that they became rich and powerful by establishing multiple streams of income.  Things like alcohol bootlegging, gambling parlors, brothels, the garment industry, cement companies, loan sharking, construction businesses, racketeering, and much more. Men AND women gangsters! The women could be just as scary and deadly. And most of those men and women never even made it past the eighth grade!
